COMMUNAL SONG
Communal singing reminds us that we are not alone, and that our individual voice is both uniquely essential and a part of the greater collective. Batya strives to create empowered singing spaces that invite people into their own voice through the practices of grounding and authentic expression. Holding the knowledge that communal song can serve to heal our relationship with our tradition, our selves, and our communities, Batya works with communities to provide support within the vulnerable practice of communal singing.

CONCERTS
Batya provides participatory concerts that engage the hearts and voices of the people in the room.
They perform a combination of their original music and older Jewish melodies. Batya sings songs based in liturgy, nigun (wordless melody), and heart-centered english words.
Batya often collaborates with other musicians and would love to come to your community to sing with you!
“Batya provided grounded, soulful, and connected leadership that led to a transformative High Holy Day experience for our community. They lead song and prayer with a big, open heart, humility, power, and generosity while being deeply attuned to the souls and sounds of everyone in the room.”
